DreamCloud uses multiple communication channels, including phone, text, email, social media, mobile app, website, and live chat, to send or receive information which may or may not be health-related. The goal of such communication may be administrative, such as to provide general information about our services, or it may be clinical, such as to deliver patient care. While we strive to ensure that your information remains private, be aware that certain channels you may use to communicate with us may not adhere to the same strict privacy standards and we caution against their use. When you communicate with DreamCloud using one of these channels (e.g. requesting an appointment using a social media platform such as Facebook, or requesting medication refills using a messaging platform such as iMessage or WhatsApp, etc.), you give your expressed consent to receive a response from DreamCloud using the same channel. We reserve the right to refuse or restrict the use of that channel at any time.
To mitigate privacy issues that may arise from using external communication channels, we provide a two-way messaging system (live chat) on our website and in our mobile app which is HIPAA-compliant and intended for patients to communicate and share information with their provider safely.
